It should be obvious, all one has to do is look around at all the intolerance to atrocities committed in the name of religions.

Same could be said about atheism. At least with this forum, atheists think religion is bad and that nobody should believe in it. How is this different than what the religious extremists are doing?

And many atrocities and acts of intolerance are committed by Man not by religion. Unless you saying that there is a God out there committing these acts through their followers. You don't believe in deities or following any religion, yet you blame the religion for the acts.

Sorry, but it is simply the human factor that make things bad. Science has done some pretty bad things as well. Industry has done some pretty bad things too. I think that you could pick any label you want and you can find a lot of atrocities and intolerant acts done it its name.

America will not be taken over or destroyed by another country or religion we will do it internally as we are seeing this great country going down the toilet little by little.

Right, the same way those of us in the West have fought against Christanity for our freedoms over the past couple hundred years. Because fact is, EVERY inch of progress made for democracy, human and civil rights in the West has been won in direct conflict with Christians and Christian beliefs.

Clearly religion is a negative force in society, and how do I come to that conclusion? I base it on the actions of those religious extremists. Doesn't matter if they are ranting at a city council meeting against gays (witnessed earlier this month in my home town), or flying planes into buildings. It is all anti-social based on a fable, how stupid.
