And the reason they made such claims, is because the Bible stated that Israel had wealth below her. Of course, non believers made hay with that belief. Yet in Gen. 49:1 we read. And Jacob called unto his sons, and said, "Gather yourselves together, (THAT I MAY TELL YOU THAT WHICH SHALL BEFALL YOU IN THE LAST DAYS.) From the God of your fathers who helps you, And by the Almighty who blesses you with blessings of heaven above, (BLESSINGS OF THE DEEP THAT LIES BENEATH,)
Deut. 33:19 "They will call people to the mountain; There they will offer righteous sacrifices; For they will draw out the abundance of the seas, (AND THE HIDDEN TREASURES OF THE SAND."
Deut. 33:24 Of Asher he said, "More blessed than sons is Asher; May he be favored by his brothers, (AND MAY HE DIP HIS FOOT IN OIL.)
The prophecies of the Bible tell us that near the end of time a great army from the north of Israel would invade her. It would be to rob her of her wealth. Ezekiel 38. Yet I myself never thought of Israel as a nation having any great wealth to rob. Well that appears to be changing. And this reality is just another example of a Bible prophecy coming to pass.

Technically it is offshore. Cant dip your toes in natural gas. Also Noble Energy, is a US company that holds a 40 per cent stake in the project. Did your little prophecy include all the other people with stakes in it as well.

So if we do the math, that means an American company (three cheers for the red, white & blue!) has a 40% stake in the End Times...right?
Another correction... The gas discovered is NOT below Israel, but 130 km off the north coast...

sanspeur, you really need to check out what is happening in ISRAEL before you speak. And do you think Israel will give the gas away they discovered off THEIR SHORES? Because off their shore is part of Israel.
