Hopefully this will bring a little peace and closure to the thousands of family members and friends of the ones who lost their lives not only in the 911 attack but for the attacks around the world..

UNCLE SAM: "Here we take the good time and trouble to slaughter every last terrorist in the Middle East, and for what? So we can let the worst one of all get away? I am depressed!"
U.S. MILITARY: "Excuse me, Uncle Sam, sir, but I sure do hate to see you like this. What if me and the boys was hunt him down, and shoot that Bin Laden dead? Would that pep you up some?"
UNCLE SAM: "That would help."

Long time comin'...but, TERRORIST ELIMINATION MISSION #1 ACCOMPLISHED!!!
I don't think I ever thought I'd say this but I had some mixed emotions about his death. As soon as we all found out he was behind 9/11 I couldn't help but wish the guy dead. Now that he is dead I guess I feel something that can only be described as a post-orgasm "downer." Though I didn't lose anybody in the Twin Towers or on Flight 93, 9/11 changed my life because I was in the military at the time. Post 9/11, I traipsed around the world, far from home, always thinking I was somehow contributing to his demise.
I sacrificed a lot just to have a remote input into the military machine geared his way and now that it's all come to an end there's something kind of bittersweet about it. It's not that I liked the guy in any way but I find it difficult to celebrate the death of anyone, even a guy like that. I won't be cheering in the streets or marching in a victory parade to celebrate his death. This seems more like a Churchill moment to me... A tumbler of whiskey in one hand, a cigar in the other, and a comfortable chair to just sit and ponder.
And now it's the terrorists who have to get revenge against the States.
Ready for another twin towers everyone??
Round and round and round we go.......
Number killed on Sept. 11 2001: 3,000
Number killed (civilians) in Afghanistan war since 2001: 14,000-34,000 estimated.
Have we killed enough yet? How many more do we need to kill to "feel better??"
Peace is what we need, not more killing (which only leads to more killing).
Blessings,
brian
When will we ever take what Jesus said seriously????????
