What do you think about witness and reaching the world. I heard a minister
say once not so long ago on TBN that he was Beyonce Knowles's pastor and
she is a good Christian (paraphrasing) he started talking about how he supported all that she does and my mouth almost hit the floor. I don't like to think the worst about anyone Christian or not. But, I'm thinking to myself," Does he see
all of her videos and watch her movies and ratings etc.???Then the host that had interviewed him says" Whew" (in a sexual tone) yeah" Beyonce... Hmmmph"
and more. I'm like "WHAT"???... This is not the only person, So what do you all
think about the music industry contemporary that's coming from the church and
all. Or do you think that it's is a sheep and wolves clothing type thing going over here ?? or money??. What about the low cut cleavage baring dresses? This is cool when you're in the Clubs etc. But it's probably kind of hard to minster and
not be bothered by the attire and the Gospel Music awards Trini-tee, Mary, Mary. I like all of the songs, but can you say that they're straddling the fence here???

Oh!! p.s. I'm not judging here. Somethings just do not add up. Just trying to
avoid arguments.,

Great questions and I totally agree with you. The churches today are like the great church of Rome in the past, instead of standing up and saying "This is wrong!" they just embrace and absorb the things in the world. I think the church (all) is more concerned with being appealing TO the world than appealing to the world with God's requirements. I've heard some religious leaders recently say that they didn't believe God has the same requirements for his followers today than he did in the past. Excuse me? I don't remember God inspiring anyone to write a new updated and hip version of the Bible. What the religions of the world are doing today, whether praising worldly celebrities or bending God's rules to allow what he forbids is evidence of their lack of holy spirit.

I agree this is like when the preacher was talking about Pamela Anderson becoming a Christian and reading stories to the young kids. UMMM....... wonder if they were really listening too the story!!!

Not sure why they are promoting Hollywood as "Christian" role models.

My guess is that Hollywood knows there is money in the Christian population and if you give us movies that appeal to us, then we'll spend our hard earned dollar to watch it. I know of a few sold out Christians in the Hollywood industry and two of them are John Tesh and Kirk Cameron. These guys are a testimony.
