Mother nature knows what she's doing, so just listen to her.
We're pack animals. We care more for our pack than other packs. There's nothing wrong with this, and to ignore or try to change this would likely cause harm...to force people to love eachother would likely cause harm.
We're dogs who will lick the faces of, and be loyal to those who assist us, even when they no longer assist us, we'll remember.
If someone kicks us though, we will bite. If someone harms our pack, we will bite. It will not matter why they kicked us or harmed our pack...we will bite regardless. Our biting may or may not be wrong, but the greater evil is expecting us not to bite, to be something we are not, something more than dogs.
The greatest evil is forcing someone to be more than a dog.
A dog's assistance should be bought, with chew toys, and treats and affection, and training.
Sometimes a dog must be gunned down, and while this is unfortunate, it is not such an evil.
The greatest evil is forcing someone to be more than a dog.
You may seek to train folk who might otherwise be gunned down to be more than dogs...but expect to be bitten.
No kindness goes unpunished.
You may seek to ascend to be more than a dog, but this must be an individual choice. Expect punishment for becomming more than a dog...for assisting other packs beyond your own...yet this will be a good thing, to recognize that other packs aren't so different from one's own

Just eliminate anything that qualifies as a weapon. If the most you can do is take on another person in hand-to-hand combat, the world would be peaceful.

Whelp Alfred Nobel's idea of creating steadily more destructive devices until everyone is too afraid to have wars didn't work out so well (beginning with dynamite). Maybe it'd be best to go the other direction.

She's probably got a plan that involves bactaria or viruses, right around the time we're cramped together from overpopulation and bacteria have adapted to all our anti-biotics. We can take her wrath until she gets it out of her system, leave somewhere else and laugh about it as she has no one left to vent at, or be nice to her.

I think I understand what you're saying here. The dog, in this case, is the Natural Man. The Natural Man is a carnal creature whose instincts and physical appetites are never put aside, never minimized or made to wait. We all have a Natural Man inside of us, even those who devote themselves to God and the discipline of religion.
Why force a dog to be a man?
My question is, Why must a man surrender to his bestial instincts when he is clearly more than a beast?

The mind is a weapon. The mind and the perverse human imagination.
The end of the philosophical treatise is missing! Moderator cut! What happened? What's the end? Aaaahhhhh!
I tried your advice today, and licked a dog's face, but he bit me, and here I am in the hospital getting rabies shots, and facing a massive hospital bill I will never be able to pay, because my insurance was pawned for some nice bourbon. Dang it.
