I never actually got to know much about him. I will say the few of his posts I did read before his passing did show he had considerable love for his beliefs and the courage to defend them.
It is good to see he has a strong supportive family that loved him deeply. I think he would be pleased to know the love his son obviously has for him.
My deepest respect to you for starting this thread.
I just wanted people to see that he was an actual person that loved his wife, his family, and most importantly our God. Since the beginning God knew that most would not accept His message. I know most won't accept His messengers as well. Thus it was no surprised that most people hated my dad's message on this forum. The fact is though he did not spend his time in the Christian forum getting praise by other Christians... He took the road less travelled promoted the Bible among unbelieving people. He through himself to the lions, but the lions did not hurt him. You would be surprised how many people actually DID agree with him secretly through private messages. Just because you did not see someone give him praise or agree with him didn't mean it didn't exist ; )
