I really understand and appreciate your problem.
How do you suggest that someone prove something spiritual?
Would a one-page testimony of my experiences during evangelism help at all?
I have a one-page summary for each year (2 month trip each year).
Or, I could give you my experience when I received the baptism with the Holy Spirit (nothing to do with salvation).
I mean, this is all I have, man.

I could try putting it on the Christianity sub-forum.

We have so many different religeons, because....No one has the right to tell God how to talk to someone else. That's between them.

To understand him better you may have to do a little searching.

But if we have a holy spirit teaching us and guiding us, we should only have one religion..

Yes, of course, you are correct ... but God chooses WHO will be given the Holy Spirit.

Father God “gives” His "elect" people to Jesus

“All that the Father gives to Me will come to Me” (John 6:37)
“No one can come to Me unless the Father who sent Me draws him” (John 6:44)
More of the same: John 6:39, 6:45, 6:65, 10:29, 17:2, 17:9, 17:24; Matthew 15:13

Almighty God is in control. He chooses. The ones He chooses are called "the elect".
They become "born again (from above)" (NEW spiritually) when God's Spirit enters them.
There are many verses about the Holy Spirit being IN true believers.

And, about being NEW, we have these ...

John 3:7 ... "You must be born again"

1 Peter 1:23 ... "having been born again, not of corruptible seed but incorruptible"

2 Corinthians 5:17 ... "Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation;
old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new."

Humans are the "best of all creations of the creator?" Really. Looking at the state of human affairs over history, I would then have to conclude then that the creator isn't very good at what it creates.

So again, why do we have so many religion?
If you have the holy spirit, then u must follow the right church since ur holy spirit tells u which religion/church is the right one. So tell me which one is the right now.

Every time I ponder joining a local church (like an Episcopalian one) for the sense of community and spirituality it would provide, I read posts written by "Christians" who seem to have IQs around 60. And then I go back to being my usual agnostic self.

That just may be the best thing for you to do, don't join something because of others, sometimes it's best not to join it all and do what feels right for you, osay
