That's the problem. While one can find weaknesses in the theory (I found a few talking to Squall - Lionheart) and understanding those leads to a better understanding of the theory, it is all too easy to use arguments against it which are actually false. I would hate to see non- science, false science and misrepresentation of science being taught as a way of arguing greater 'weaknesses' in evolution theory than there actually are.

P.s and I'd hate to see evolution police supervising biology classes...'You can't say that - it's quotemining Darwin'. I'd almost prefer that evolution is just not brought up in education.

Well I see the stupid attacks on the individual in a vain attempt to discredit over a typo have now come into play for the simple reason they have nothing else to counter the truth with.

Pathetic how easily a simple typo can show the desperation of these people and the fact they have nothing but ignorance and hate. So laugh away fool, you took the bait and proved you have nothing to counter the truth, just screaming out in your irrational ignorance and hate.

Lemme at 'em. I'll show them some "Evolution"at work, by gar!!!

The dumb succumbing to the smart... as a starting point.
Actually, that would be natural selection at work NOT evolution....just sayin'...

Uh huh.

Will they be teaching the 'weaknesses' of the Theory of Gravity in phyics classes?
Will they be teaching the 'weaknesses' of Atomic Theory in chemistry classes?

Of course not. This is high school. They barely have time for overviews of these things, much less to delve deep into the complexities of the myriad of unresolved issues that exist even in all well-established, scientifically-sound theories.

This isn't about showing kids 'weaknesses' of anything, it's an excuse to peddle completely unscientific nonsense.

Obviously atheists and evolutionists have something very very embarrassing to hide. They don't want students to see two sides of the argument as to evolution, just their side of evolution. The writer of the article of Asheville's link finished with this:

"Although a detailed discussion of open issues within all scientific theories
might make some pedagogic sense, the bill will undoubtedly function as its
designers intended. Teachers with a strong agenda will be able to bring up
discredited arguments against the mainstream scientific understanding.

And, should they ever do that in front of a student from a family with
equally strong views, the result will inevitably be a lawsuit that will hold
the local school district responsible."

Is there any reason why a teacher in a school, a school which is supposed to be designed to make students think, not be allowed to show the students the discredited arguments pertaining to evolution? If evolution is so perfectly true, what do the atheists and evolutionists have to hide? or be afraid of open discussion?

Haven't you read any of the evolution threads on here?

It wouldn't matter if Jesus himself came back { 2000 yrs and still waiting } and told the creationists that evolution were true, they still wouldn't believe it.

As to the OP, since when has an "honest" investigation into the truth ever been welcomed?

Because he'd be the anti-christ if he said evolution were true.

Jesus would never say evolution is true.
