Is it a sin of unjustifiable cooperation in evil to go on City-Data Forums?
The reason I ask is because there is blasphemy in the Religion and Politics & Other Controversies forums, lewd talk in the Relationships Forum, and perhaps other sinful content that the moderators do not filter as a matter of policy.
Do we participate in the sins of the posters and administrators by merely being on here and encouraging the forums' existence?

You're kidding, right?
Just because not everyone believes in your God, it's blasphemy.
Just because people want to talk about their relationships, they're being lewd.
Just because people want to voice opinions that you don't agree with, it's sinful.
For Pete's sake, grow up. If you are bothered by it that much, don't participate. You're not being forced to ya know.

Curious that the OP has almost 4,000 post on CD, then asks this
But yes, what is blasphemy, it applies to gods, and since atheists don't have gods, then blasphemy, like all the other trappings of religion are just made up.
Just like the lewd criteria. What is lewd? I find an someone so uptight about their religion that they can't even discuss sexual relations, a perfectly normal function, with another person to be lewd.

I am not concerned about anything else you've stated except that second paragraph. Yes, other forums, believe it or not, are far less lax. Stuff you can say about religion or politics elsewhere around this site would not fly here which puzzles me.

It makes perfect sense if you stop and think about it. The titles of forum areas of Religion or Christianity draw many that are trying to escape from reality of truth and seek an environment consisting solely of ancient superstition and bronze age ignorance, and there is no room for truth or reality, at least in their mind.
Many are rabid in their efforts to tell any that don't have the same narrow views what to think, and if you tell them no, or question why they get their boxers in a bunch and scurry off to the icon in desperation to silence any that dare disagree.

Some time back when a very popular black pastor (Eddie Long) in Atlanta got caught up in a gay scandal, it was posted in the Georgia forum. Folks had a field day with that one, making jokes and sarcastic remarks galore. No one was edited or censored (there was no cursing). That could not happen here without the mods receiving tons of alerts.

After all, what is common with people that post in the GA area, they either live there, used to live there, or are thinking about living there. A mix of people with various interests and views.
Look the statistics under a users profile at some of those with a very very narrow world view (I would say narrow minded but it would probably be censored, so I won't ) and you will find that they very seldom if ever post outside of R&P or C.
It will show the top 5 areas (with count) that a user posts in. Curious that the OP's top 5 does not include R&P or C

There's nothing wrong with a little decorum but it seems that certain posters here want strict censorship of anything that they don't agree with.
The mods are doing a good job of keeping things in the middle for the most part.
Anyone who is offended by the views in any given thread has the option of finding another one to join in on. You know, the "free will" thing. They're free to go where they will.
Like Ash said, almost 4,000 posts and NOW the OP's worried?
