The fact that prayers don't get answered in any consistent way is the easiest evidence against the existence of God.
I'm not saying this is "proof" of nonexistence though.
thats more proof against an interventionist god than proof of no god , i think god ( of some kind ) may exist but i think all of the mainstream religons presentation of god are bullplop , personal jesus and all that
Good outcomes are happily attributed to God's benevolence.
Bad outcomes come with admonishments not to try and understand God (until the next good outcome, of course!).
The tornado misses the church:
"It's a miracle! God was looking after this house!"
The tornado levels the church:
"God works in mysterious ways! His actions are beyond our comprehension!"
Occasionally, God electrocutes people in the baptismal fount. I think this happens when he accidentally misses the church with a tornado.
Since I don't claim that god does not exist, then what would I be trying to prove? For all I know, there could be hundreds of gods out there! As an atheist, I simply have not been convinced byyour claims.

"The universe just can't have either come from nothing, or always have existed! But it makes perfect since that a deity either came from nothing, or always has existed!"
Brilliant ...
