I simply call myself a believer now days because my beliefs have become very personal over the years are not up for argument.
Attaching a label such as "christian" immediately seems to bring people around to tell me "But you don't believe this or that, you don't follow my church's doctrine etc, etc, therefore you are not christian. It gets aggravating to have someone constantly trying to "save" me to their church doctrine.
I have no need, no will power or desire to change anyone's beliefs and I expect the same from them in regards to my beliefs
Yet you didn't post this in the Christian section. On a side note I would think that IF God is real he is beyond such terms as the Jewish/ Christian God.
If I were to preach, I'd want to preach to all, not just the choir, so to speak. God is real, maybe we all travel different roads to get there, but he is the light in the tunnel.

No disrespect, but don't you just love the metaphors, "the light at the end of the tunnel" and it would seem that the Christian religion wants to keep you in that tunnel so that you never do see the light. To many people the term "light" would mean knowledge and to obtain that knowledge, means never going in that tunnel, the tunnel of Christianity. Like I said, no disrespect towards Christianity but I prefer knowledge over the tunnel.

Does that light in the tunnel create "tunnel-vision?"

Umm I thought you weren't preaching?
