I think the most scientific and plausible theory about the origin of man is that it started with one man and one woman.

What are some other opposing theories that would contradict this?

Please be specific describing a scenario that could have taken place.

Thanks.

First, I'd suggest that men and women weren't really men and women, to begin with. They evolved into other species, which became new species, and those species became the people became Us.

It is similar to the question of which Roman was the first to speak Italian, instead of Latin, and how did anybody understand him.

Human evolution - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Lets hope as soon as the OP mentions "bible", "god" or any other phrases that alludes to some mythical fantasy figure the mod(s) will move this thread somewhere else...

Some other theories on the origin of man?

~ Aliens developed mankind as a genetic experiment

~ The protozoa screwed up in their insemination ritual

The only mythical fantasy figure is the "missing link" which has never been found.

Why aren't there more different types of humans, or missing links, if we evolved from a different species? We are all the same.

Are we all the same?

Are we far enough away from this supposed species we evolved from to have become different?

There is no one "missing link." Transitional fossils are being found with regularity.

Let me clear up this issue. I'm a geologist who is published in the Journal of Invertebrate Paleontology. So when I say that all species are transitional, you can take it to the bank.

Well since Haplogroup geneticists have postulated that Mitochrondria Eve is possibly twice as old as Y- Chromosomial Adam then i assume that females have inhabited the planet first .

It does support the notion that the 'power behind the throne' wears a skirt.
