If this earth was created for us, as a giant experiment of sorts... an ant farm in which our free will is exercised, morals developed, and faith tested...
Why is there so much needless complexity?
If the only purpose of human existence is to find a path to god, why is our planet (and universe) filled with so many factors that are wholly unrelated to this quest.
If everything we see, touch and experience is merely a giant stage filled with props, what is the point of trillions of stars, billions of different species of microbes and more species of insects than we could ever count.
If an all powerful god can spend this much energy on minutia, why are children still born with horrible birth defects?
Why would a benevolent god spend so much energy on all these complexities, and yet leave so much painful imperfection and injustice in the natural order of life?
To me, this incalculable complexity shows that we came to be through millennium of chaotic advancements, not a 6 day conjuring session.
Can you imagine 3,000 pairs of mosquitoes in Noah's Ark?
I mean, they could not have survive the flood without shelter, right?
Noah's ark would have also had to have the largest and most complex system of freshwater aquariums ever conceived... as the flooded earth would have been largely saltwater.
I think its been calculated that the arc would have to be roughly 5 times size of the landmass of the island of Manhattan, and staffed by tens of thousands of trained zoologists in order to keep all the animals alive.
Since I am not God ( but I do like the idea of being a god) I couldn't tell. I guess He wants at least one type of mosquito to survive.
I guess God always looks at the BIG picture.
mosquitos are food for many species. And just an annoyance for us. Kinda like Christians. Oh, did I say that?
Yeah, mosquitos are just an annoyance. Mosquitos spread malaria. Every year, worldwide, almost 1 million people die from malaria. Dying from a disease must certainly be annoying!

Yes He does see the BIG picture.
