Very interesting I suppose and I hope you enjoy it.

Yes, and there is exactly the same amount of evidence for the existence of The Shire as there is for the existence of Heaven.

For you, I am sure that is true.

When men climbed to the top of Mt Olympus we discovered there were no gods, so the religious put their gods so high that we could not climb to their height. Now man has broken through the clouds and our own atmosphere, still no gods found. Now the religious move them to another plain of existence. Soon science will discover those plains to find no gods, then the religious will move their gods yet again. One day they will run out of hiding places and their god will be exposed to be nonexistent.

This goes for hell and heaven as well.

Science will eventually discover God; I'll place my bet on it.

Oh? I didn't realize that evidence was a function of belief. For your information, evidence is data that will point to a conclusion, regardless of the prejudices or preconceptions of the person viewing the data. Where is your data that points to the conclusion that heaven exists?

Belief is not evidence. Personal anecdotes are not evidence. The Bible is not evidence, just a written guide to and a reflection of, your belief.

Do you have any evidence, any at all?

I think that they have already run out of hiding places, for as far as we know, we can see to the edge of the universe, the issue is that like receiving really bad news one goes through a period of denial and refuses to acknowledge reality.

Simular to what Atheist are doing now.

The more science uncovers, the more closer we get to God. Science is an unknown tool of God, its research arch will eventually come full circle to the undeniable truth. As quiet as it is kept, I already know that science is not really going in a direction away from God; its actually heading right toward him.

Because you see he is the beginning and the end of all things, including science.

"Oh no, the scientists are removing our hiding places!"
"Here, hide god in the Deep Field!"
"Drats! They have launched the Hubble Telescope!"
"Quick, hide god behind the Big Bang, they will never find him here!"
"Ack, here comes that guy in the wheel chair!"
"And now the Higgs-Boson, what will we do!"

[fade to angst]

Continued comparrisons;

The Christian horror of hell is a fear monger

The Atheist horror of sheer nothing after a life of suffering, is fear forgotten.
