Clearly you're not using logic since homosexuality is universal phenomenon in nature, and the Church endorsed same-sex marriage for centuries.

Perhaps you shouldn't engage in a discussion you are not well educated on?

It's not bogus.
Why aren't opposite-sex marriages seen by you in this light, pray tell?

Actually history proves that 'separate but equal' does not work.
In your faith, call it whatever you wish, but your beliefs cannot be allowed to affect the actual societal issue of legal marriage.

It's only a Biblical view. You even make the mistake of using the same terminology.

Gay marriage represents a huge shift in Western culture so its going to take some time before it will be accepted fully, and 100% of the people will likely never approve of it because there are always going to be people that hold to the Biblical view of marriage.
Equality for women is not Biblical. It also represented a HUGE shift in Western culture and is still not accepted fully, especially by conservative religious types.

You are correct about Western culture. Women received the right to vote in this country almost 60 years after black males. Women's equality is very much a recent concept, and is still not accepted in much of the world. As for the Bible, all are equal under Christ; men, women, slave, free.
