Does she have human hands and feet? And can evidence to prove this be shown? Or is this claim like another Piltdown man in the making?

The St. Louis Zoo seems to think Lucy has these things:

So can someone tell me what part of the scientific theory was broken by making such an assumption? There were assuming that something is true that cannot be proven. This is just as bad as when an atheist asks a Christian: where is God? And He cannot produce Him. So I ask: Where are the hands and feet bones to prove what is claimed here?

I think we can assume that there are fingers of some sort because otherwise picking up things to eat would have been difficult. Lucy would have had to graze like a cow otherwise.

We can also assume that there were feet because it seems as if she walked upright. Did she have toes? Now, that's a good question. But concidering that all mammals have some sort of toe-like structure, we can pretty well guess that Lucy did too.

Along that lind of thought, there is no proof, that is physical evidence, that the one and only historical Jesus of the bible existed. Belief in one is just as plausible as believe in the other. Just my opinion.

Gosh, you're right! It's a big conspiracy. I mean, how do they know she had a right thigh? Where's the right femur? She might not have even had eyes! How could we be sure without a complete skull? A few metacarpals and they infer a hand. I mean, come on! Good thing there are sensible people who can see through such scientific shenanigans. Honestly, the nerve of these godless Evolutionists!

Current "dating" places the age of the Lucy fossils at ~ 3.18 million years old.

IMO, Lucy was as human as we are, just 3 million or so years older
