There is a storm raging in Murfreesboro, Tennessee over the construction of a new Islamic mosque in that city. The majority of townspeople, who identify themselves as Christian, seem to be doing everything they can to prevent the local Muslim community from building a mosque there.

So far, the Christians, lead by mosque opponent Rev. Darrell Whaley, pastor of the Kingdom Ministries Worship Center, have been trying to halt a mosque being built by various legal tactics such as zoning laws and even claiming Islam is "not a religion" and therefore not eligible for legal protection under the constitution. However, the Christian opponents of the mosque have lost every court battle so far.

The Murfreesboro mosque is nearing completion. However, anti-mosque activities continue. A neighboring property owner has erected white crosses on his property.

"We are going to closely scrutinize every thing they (the Muslims) do," stated Rev. Darrell Whaley.

As if any Mosque with Radical or anti-American ties is going to be visible and public. The minute a person makes it publicly known they are Muslim they come under the watchful eye of local government and Homeland Security. Those with any intent to spread evil are not going to open a highly visible public Mosque.

Most Mosques are nothing more than an empty building that serves as a shelter from the weather during community prayer times, although the exterior may be elaborate.

Islamic Centers may contain additional buildings or rooms that serve as class rooms and have such things as Arabic classes, Quran classes book stores, Halal grocer stories etc.

A Mosque is open to the public and visitors are always welcome. Public scrutiny is quite easy, the doors are usually open and there is no mysterious organization to join, just walk in. Nothing is hidden.

One major difference,.known Mosques and Muslims with high visibility are constantly monitored by the feds. I and most Muslims have no problem with that as we do not do nor intend to do any illegal actilities or promote such.

Try to build a Christian church in Saudi Arabia or even Baghdad today ,or Timbuktu Mali or Hindu districts of India or China, other area were Christians do not have a strong presence in the other nation of the world and opposition will be there also .....As new religions plantings are idols before the religious

Should you allow other nations to decide how welcoming you will be?

Christians intolerant????? Really, who would have thought that faux christians would be intolerant

Their perceived hate of their god is never done, after all they worship a god that murdered 99.999999999% of all life on the planet in one of his fits of rage.
