Ahh, but Mike doesn't believe that there is a god, and furthermore, believes that you are delusional for thinking that there is. So there.
Thus the problem.
Some can not agree to disagree. As far as being delusional, atheism is not the norm. An aberration if you will. Yet you never see theists calling atheists mad. Calling people crazy is not the stuff of "friendly discussion". It is the stuff of arrogance.

To cut right to the heart of it, yes you are correct Georgia. Delusional or naive. I however do not believe that belief makes anyone beneath me. I would just like to see faith not overrule common sense.
Why should that be? We're all human beings, and I suspect most of us are adults. Is it really such as "tall order" to expect us to act like mature, intelligent people who just happen to have a different perspective on what's "fantasy" and what's not? Even if we all existed in "the real world," we wouldn't always see eye to eye on everything.
It's a "tall order" in this forum. (with some exceptions)

you have no desire to debate a fool. Nor do I. Since you regard theists as fools let's let this thread continue without you getting off topic
