Actually, God did tell His people to observe the Sabbath and commanded them to offer blood sacrifices at His tabernacle. Just because you say He did not does not prove He did not. Obviously He did because He did.

In Egypt, people could worship God, or any other being in Heaven in any way they personally felt inclined to, within reason. There is a story about one Pharaoh who demanded people worship certain deities over others and he was declared a heretic. You can't take away the freedom to worship God. It's just common sense. Looks like to me, the Bible has corrupted you. Stoning a man to death for gathering wood on Moses's Sabbath is a horrible sin. Murdering 3000 people for worshipping the golden calf is also a grave sin. If you have to murder people in order to show who's boss, it's just oroppression and intimidation through terrorism. Then there's the act of actually saying that it was God that told Moses to kill them. Framing God for it. It's just horrible.

You have a warped understanding of God and His ways. No one was MURDERED for worshipping the golden calf. The man gathering wood was purposely rebelling against what he knew was the law he agreed to keep (or else).
Tell me, when the state today sends a person to the gas chamber or has them die by lethal injection is the state murdering them?

Now let us go back..to where God gave the Laws to Moses...Each one was uttered to Moses while being inscribed on stone....by God's finger....Thou shall NOT MURDER!!!!...Something Moses Himself was Guitly of!~....And so...if these commandments were to be put into our hearts to do...and uphold...in any light....No one need be murdered or put to death!!!!.

If a man was found gathering wood on a holy day or rest...he should of been supplied with wood before hand....THis would solve the problem, and no on need die!

True?...SO is it better to let someone break a commandment..(not Give the necessities of Life).so more commandments be broken, or make exceptions to do so?...so they can be broken by all...at will or word?....or should people try to remove the sin or sinner (teach forgiveness, and share) before it happens and make God happy by saving the one or the many...and bringing them into peace, health, and happiness...through the good deeds done by all, in all for all?

Moses was not the one stoning anyone!...He may have got things a bit twisted up though...as God tested all...and all failed!...if you read through the book...that is what it is about..."human failure" to do a simple innocent act of Justice for GOD in Giving back that which was taken (stolen) which saves the Earth from its pending doom....while using a IDOL, and polluting the air waters and soils...so more things die...as they subject all things to it , for it By it....and making it more important than he God for LIVING AND LIFE...and making monuments (twin towers?) for it.....Something Jesus kicks at from time to time...to rid it from our hearts to want to support....any longer...when we can Give, but do not!!!...and we see the suffering and destitution , and walk by with closed eyes....

Jewish law dictates that a person cannot be put to death for any trangressions without first having been publicly warned, and then having 2 witnesses testify that after the warning the trangression took place anyways.

However, and this is a big HOWEVER... only the Sanhedrin (the Jewish court of elders that last existed in the year 70 of the common era, when the Holy Temple was destroyed) has the authority to pronounce a death sentence on a Jew.

So this whole excercise of critisizing Moses is a worthless discussion, as none of those laws the OP references have been enforced in nearly 2,000 years. And even when they were enforced, on average there was a death sentence roughly once every 100 years.

So if this is the OP's big issue, why is he not critisizing Texas where they execute people every 2-3 weeks? Could the OP have "motives" for his critisizms of Moses, who has been dead for 3300 years? Somebody explain to me why somebody would label an entire people as blood thirsty, when they have not even done the accused action in more than 2,000 years, and even then, only did it once every 100 years?

^ Yes...This is part my understanding...Those remaking the laws are doing it wrong!..if they break a commandment of God...which clearly says not to murder or kill...(It also does not say "What" or "WHO" in the being Killed are implied)..to take a life or any living things life is murder....in some Minds?...if you eat thier children....what comes back at you if..."Do onto others as you would have done onto you" applies accross the Living board room floor...or thrashing ground?

Or to kill without provocation...poor judgement calls....Mindlessly Killing other living things...Because we do!...But it is never brought to mind nor accounted for when we do....?...trespassing on others...so we can delude ourselves with luxuries, and saying we are righteous?

I say....Do we crucify another innocent to let this Idolatry go on in bloodshed and corruption, with sins and evils on the table , every nation, kingdom, and country, is tied to...in partnership or support... saying forgive them continually dear Lord?...77 times?...or ...77 x 11 - 10.....- 10 because = what hit the world trade center?..= 747...How many laws broken of God?...10!...what did god target?...the twin towers of slanted and false world trade...Yes?...the equation is soundly tied to that truth of Moses...God does not want to kill...but he will teach....but they do not see!..nor hear...nor want that truth to be known!...but like I said...it is on both sides!
