Terrorists come in many flavors, some base their actions on various religious ideologies, some others do not. Do you have some particular point you'd like to discuss?

you know I think it might be a little more proper to say that most terrorists claim to the Muslim, doesn't mean that they actually are. There are those who claim to belong to a particular type of religion to justify their actions but that doesn't mean that they are real believers of that religion, whether it be Christianity or Islam.

Which numbers? From what source? In what survey? According to whom?

Not tryin' to be an a**hole -- seriously, I'm not. I just want to find out where 'the numbers' are coming from.

but if you use the Generic term Terrorist attact the vast majority are by non-Muslims. Only the media does not call them terrorist attacks. The Drug Cartel acts of Terrorism alone far out number the ones by Muslims.

No..not all Muslims are terrorists. But it sure seems like an inordinate amount of terrorists claim to be Muslim.

I think it would be more accurate to say that most terrorists that claim to be following a religion are Muslim. However, the vast majority of terrorist attacks are not religious inspired and are by non-Muslims.

A big cause of misunderstanding comes from how Muslims define religion. We use the word De'en which actually means "Way of life, Personal choices, etc" The English word Religion is not applicable to Islam. Islam is a De'en. Everything every person does (Muslim or non-Muslim) is their De'en. the media tends to call only religious motivated Terrorism as Terrorism therefore the media now calls all acts by Mulims as terrorism while the same acts by non-Muslims are not called terrorism. In the world view it has become that only crimes by Muslims carry the label of Terrorism by the media.

A lot of terrorists don't claim to be anything at all. In fact, the vast majority of terror attacks in the US have nothing to do with religion, and the perpetrators are not claiming that it does.

Terror is an equal opportunity weapon, its use is not restricted by race, color or creed, all it requires is a willingness to indiscriminately kill for whatever one's 'cause' might be.
