LOL, Redbird, I can feel your energy clear over here..

Michael is still in the ICU this morning..His o2 stats are still at 90 w/o 0xygen..There have been a lot of questions concerning the amount of muscle relaxants that he has to take daily..

Look out aches and pains, disease and accidents, the big ol' Indian known as REDBIRD is in the prayerhouse! Prayer talons flashing and sending out healing lightning bolts!!!!!
LOLOLOLOL You're so awesome Redbird!

I am so thrilled that you are so fired up! God never said we had to have experience to pray. He wants us to come as we are. I'm sure He is smiling BIG down upon you and Don right now!

I just got back from visiting Michael..He is still in Icu..His legs are very tight and the spasms are terrible..The Dr on call ordered his anti spasm meds cut in half..They couldn't locate the Dr. for me or my daughter to talk to..Michaels Neuro Dr is out of the country until Wednesday..His o2 level is up a little and he is beginning to have a productive cough, which is good..Thank you for the prayers..

Wasn't on yesterday so I didn't see your request until now. Will certainly pray, blue! Please keep us updated on him.

Yes, Aiangel, they got in touch with the Neurologist standing in for Michaels reg neuro. He upped it to almost his regular dosage..The big problem is that this particular drug (bacoflen) is very powerful and he has been on the highest reccommended dose for about 6 years..Maybe, there is something new out there Anything they prescribe though is liable to cause liver damage over time..

That is so sad. SOmetimes the side affects of drugs can be so bad. I am glad though that he got his meds upped to help him yesterday. It has to be extremely difficult to see him so sick.

I spent a few hours with Michael today and may go back late tonight..He is in the stepdown unit now. When I went in this afternoon, his legs and torso were in spasm, he was crying with the discomfort..The dr had not written the order to give his usual dosage of 40mg every 6 hours + another muscle relaxer three times a day as promised. His meds he brought from home were in the locker....His Mom came back in about 30 minutes and Michael was relaxed enough that we were able to do excellent leg and ankle exercises and he was resting better and napping when I left. They x rayed his lungs a while ago, so we won't know that report until morning..Please continue prayer for him..and for the other requests here..
