Default Prayer and more prayer please

Prayer, prayer, prayer needed please!! Seems I've been in need of serious prayer quite a bit lately. My wife and I just learned tonight that her father who is 68 may have prostrate cancer. He is not one to share unless it's serious...and this is serious. He is supposed to get the final results back tomorrow. He is a very strong believer and an amazing man of God who has challenged me in my faith in so many positive ways! He's a dad to me and the thought of possibly losing him is overwhelming sadness.

My wife's mom passed away three and a half years ago so this would be an even harder blow to lose him. Please pray that his results are negative. Please pray for peace for him and his wife, for my wife and I too. The moment I know something I will definitely post here.

God never gives us more than we can handle right? Well I feel overloaded right now. I truly cannot handle anything else in my life.

Your father in law, you and your family are in my prayers. I know how hard it must be...however, keep in mind that there are treatments for prostate cancer. I'm not saying for ALL prostate cancers and I am not saying it is pleasant, but my dad had prostate cancer about 12 years ago! They had to remove the cancer and part of something else, but it's all good! Although my dad has other health issues now, he came through the prostate cancer and has never had a problem with it sense!
