Do you have anything productive to add to the conversation or are you just trolling? Not that I'm accusing you of trolling.....because I am genuinely curious if you have anything productive to add.
What was trolling about my post?
It illustrated very simply what can happen when people blindly and zealously believe that only they are the ones who know what their 'God' wants. And that anyone who doesn't believe as they do is wrong or a heretic.

Now that you've reworded it, I'll be happy to answer. I don't think for a moment that only I can speak for God. There are a lot of excellent theologians in Christianity. They all agree on the nature of God as being an essential of the faith. It only makes sense. If I wanted to call myself a muslim, I probably ought to know who allah is, right? Why is it any different with Christianity?
The Trinity is a Psychological tool used by religion. Foolish people are more likely to believe three other people instead of one, two, or four+ others. The scientific field of Psychology is such a blessing for humanity, and religion is such a shame.
There are those of us who humbly exist and strive alongside pure reason and those who could only be strange and without a soul. Everyone wants a soul..but the problem is a soul can't be stolen or bartered from someone else, everybody's gotta get their own soul.

I agree that God did not die on the cross for our sins and that Mary is not the mother of God.
Jesus had 2 natures. His human nature died on the cross. His divine nature did not.
And no--Mary is not the mother of God. She is the mother of the human nature of Jesus.

It was simple for me to decide.
Jesus went into the garden to pray. If He were God, to whom would he have been praying?
He prayed to the Father. You really need to understand what the doctrine of the Trinity is in order to understand that he is God, and he was praying to God the Father.
Quote:
On the cross, Jesus asked God why He had forsaken him. If Jesus were God, of whom was he asking the question?
Again, God the Father.

Yes, I agree with all the other verses you quoted.
Again...I'd suggest you do a little checking into it before you comment more on it. It's clear you just don't understand what we mean when we talk about the Trinity.

However they don't all agree on the Trinity and a lot of other issues, some of which are pretty major. There are many different versions of Christianity around. I understand yours is the Calvinist version from what you've posted previously.
