I guess they are popular in Cambodia...but I thought I had heard that they are turning into a delicacy in the US as well. Yuck...you couldn't pay me enough to put one in my mouth!

Now that's going abit too far! ("runny contents of the abdomen..yuck is right!!) I'd sooner ear fried grubs or worms than a hard-shelled bug or spider.. (crunch, crunch, squishy goo)

Good thing I already ate my lunch!

Cg, when I was a little girl, I spent many summer nights standing ankle deep near the banks of the farm pond holding the "gunny sack" open for my dad to put the big bullfrogs in after he used his "gig" to catch em with..We used to watch the legs jump around in the hot grease of the skillet. My mom would bread them..Yes, they do taste like little chicken drumsticks..What great memories

I love liver pate! My mom used to make it with braunsweiger, mush it into a ball, spread cream cheese all over it and slice up green olives and put all over it. Was fantastic!! I made it for friends one time and this guy could not get enough of it. He had 1/4 of the ball eaten when I told him what it was. From that moment on he hated it. Makes no sense!!

And yes June, a good wine goes well. I'm more of a box wine kinda guy.
