I didn
t have any wierd dreams, but I remember a little insomnia after about the 4th or fifth day..I didn't have to finish my prescription..It worked really fast for this 45 year smoker...Who, like Aiangel hates to have to take any medications.

.Oh, Macrina, sorry I wanted so bad to come up with a plan for you to cut back on cd, but it's gonna take awhile, because I go into withdrawals just at the thought of someone wanting to "cut back"

Default weather checking in

Good Morning!

Today is the first day of the rest of your life.

This is the day that the Lord hath made. Let us rejoice and be glad in it!

Dear Lord, If you can't make me skinny, please make my friends fat! (oops, did I type that one out loud?)

Everything going well here. I had no chocolates yesterday, however I did binge a little on some starbursts that I had bought for my CCD kids. It's my bribe to try to keep ten 5 YO's stay still for 60 minutes and learn about the Catholic faith.

So far today...coffee and a banana. Oh, and two mini nilla wafers while packing lunches. (Lunches always get me. Think I'll try packing at night after I've brushed my teeth.)

How's everyone doing out there?

Love ya' all,
weather...

Kaykay and Weather you both need to have some protein in the morning! Doesn't matter if it's an egg, peanut butter, cheese or deli meat even...but have some or you will be hungrier later in the day.

Weather we talked about ditching the cookies and candy from the house didn't we? The CCD kids will be just as happy to receive a noncandy prize so get rid of the candy head out to the local party story and load up on the little 5 and 10 cent prizes or stickers and use them instead. That way there is no candy for you to even be tempted by. The kids can have granola bars instead of nilla wafers and other cookies/cakey things in their lunch and I'm sure they will like them just as much. Ok?

Ok girls now get rid of the junk and keep up the good work!

DH has reported the dreams have just started...they are not bad dreams just really vivid and a little weirder than usual....like dreaming about a new house only this time it was made out of candy! He also said that each time he smokes he is getting a funny taste in his mouth and not finishing the cigarettes all the way...this is day 4...so it sounds good so far. No other side effects so far. Did I mention that DH is a total med baby?

All in all I think this so far seems easier to me than nicotine replacement (which is what I did, because I had no idea this drug existed then) and I'm kind of jealous actually.

Aiangel did you do it yet?

Sounds a lot like pregnancy.

(Going to eat a pretzel dipped in PB...is that OK, irish? I know that my way is bad!!!!! But it's what I know. I've had coffee, 3 bananas, 1 glass OJ, and a few swallows of water to get some pills down. No water is my big sin!! Coffee is my entire day's sustinance.)

Ok this may be a bit delicate and you don't have to answer...but how on earth can you go to the bathroom after eating 3 bananas?!?

Yes a pretzel and peanut butter is ok, but celery or apple with it would be better.

You can count half your water from black coffee and other liquids. If your urine is light to clear then you are hydrated so don't worry as much about the water as the calories.

I am sure that this is TMI, but you asked...the weather family has no problem in the bathroom arena. Bananas, cheese, bring it on, we're up for the challenge!!!

Thanks for the tip on the coffee. I drink it black and I will watch for those other 'shades' that you mentioned.

Pretzels and PB it is!
