Why does there have to be a beginning?

If we look at suns and solar systems many begin from the end of a previous star. The universe could work the same way. This universe could be the latest in a long line of universes. Without beginning or end.

If there doesn't need to be "nothing" at some point then there is no beginning.

If "nothing" is an impossibility and I say it is. Then so is a beginning.
