Maybe if you ever actually opened your eyes and mind you'd see them. They have been presented to you many, many times by those who know and understand the bible better than you.
(And no, I do not count myself among them. But I've seen you duck n' run from them over the years. Over and over and over again.)

I have seen the alleged "contradictions". BF is right. They have been resolved simply by reading correctly.
Weird. I've asked for examples of them, and no one has ever provided any.

And I have seen them, so we’re at an impasse. The point remains that the answer to your question of what invalidates the Bible as the “word of God” is NOT the fact that believing it gives some people comfort. What invalidates it for many of us are the internal inconsistencies.
It's a plot point. The wife has to be done away with in order for the daughters to get their father drunk and have sex with him. If she's alive/present, she's not going to allow it to happen.
It's not the fact that some people find comfort in believing some of what is written in the Bible that invalidates it; it is it's own internal inconsistencies as a whole that invalidates the possibility that as a whole it is "the word of God".
