I'm not atheist, I just believe in science and things that are physically possible.
I actually trust scientists unlike many people, because I used to be a professor's assistant in college, who happened to be a astronomer.
He wasn't Lucifer or anything, he was quite nice. There was nothing whatsoever evil about his work, which I helped with. He was attempting to understand how life can form in the most hostile conditions on our planet.
Life (bacteria, microorganisms) were observed growing and living in liquid methane, radioactive waste containers, and on the inside of a gasoline tank.
His job was to find out how and why they were living there.
So, if you ask me why I don't believe in God, I'll tell you I never said that.
I will believe something if there is solid scientific and physical proof.
I do not believe that the bible is proof of the existence of an all-powerful deity (more like medieval king), because man has "modified" it hundreds of thousands of times.
If you can show me a picture (a real life photo), an x-ray shot, or anything that can prove God's existence, then I will be happy to believe and follow him.
