Is it a church ,synagogue, temple or a house etc? Do you have a large or small congregation and how far are you from this place of worship ? What motivates you the most to attend worship service ?

We attend an average sized Bible church. I'm guessing we have anywhere from 150-200 people in attendance each week. The church is about a ten minute drive for us so it's very convenient...certainly not the reason we go there though. It's a wonderful church full of great people with a fantastic pastor. We've been there for less than a year but we love it and couldn't imagine going anywhere else. My reasons for attending church are many, with the main one being that God has told us to. "Forsake not the assembling of yourselves together." I go to learn more about Him, to worship Him and to fellowship with other believers.

Sitting outside, late at night, glass of sacremental wine in hand, staring at the billions of stars, galaxies, nebulas, and the other creations of the big bang.

We go to a Baptist church about 2000 members, about 6 or 7 miles from our house. What motivates me is to learn more about the Lord and have a stronger relationship with Him.

I'm with Love2All here. It's my house... and at my house, I'm the only member of my congregation.

I've just switched churches recently. We left a more contemporary Baptist church with over 1,200 attendants that was about 5 miles from home. Currently we travel about 3.5 miles to a Baptist church that's a bit more traditional, but with a couple contemporary flares. It's a good mix. There are about 100 to 200 attendants on Sundays. I go to church to worship God and to refocus on Him and to be re-energized for His purpose for me throughout the week and to be strengthened in Him and His word.

1) A Church in a non tradition sense. We refer to the building as the "Worship Center". Looks like a theater. (my best general description)

2) The church has about 1100 members and we average about 1300-1400 worshipers a week. Wednesday believer service, Saturday Night, Sunday 2x.

3)We live about 15 miles away

4) The motivation is to Worship a righteous and Holy God.... but it wasn't always this way. Certainly I have matured and my thinking as well. At first, I needed milk, now I need meat.

In addition, because I am involved in leadership, I also have obligations and commitments to the pastor and members.

My place of worship is a little fine dining restaurant on the Illonois/Wisconsin border called 'Ray Radigans'. They have the best steak I have ever tasted. If I was super wealthy, I would fly over just for that!
