Everywhere, we are urged to buy this, believe that, improve this, change that -- and many of the messages contradict each other.
Looks like the Mick was right when he was talking about a man comin' on the tv to tell'em how white his shirts can be. But he knew that he couldn't be a man 'cause he didn't smoke the same cigarettes as him! Yes, looks like we're all looking for some sort of 'satisfaction'. And of course that can be in the spiritual and material spheres. Simple musical motif says it all I think. Which adds me to say that I believe there's something to be said for Miss Hepburn's 'simplicity' motif. Too much of a 'load' (anyone defines that for themselves) weighs you down. I think it helps to be a constant 'editor' of ones' life to navigate all the shoals we walk and swim in. Just a matter of paying attention to certain things.
So stupid, so backwards and ignorant that we need saviors, masters, avatars, teachers
sent to this 3rd Dimension to leave breadcrumbs for us to find our way Home?
Whassup with that?
For one thing we can't save ourselves, individuals under the guise of humanism will think so I am sure. My Savior is in Jesus Christ, so call me stupid but He is my path to Heaven.
That is what religion wants you to believe. That is part and parcel of the control mechanism it uses to keep people in the flock. One has to be convinced that a savior will come to rescue us from ourselves, but only those who joined the club ... thus the need for religion becomes all-encompassing.
It is also dangerous, for this belief can turn people into apathetic non-participants in life. Why bother trying to improve our own world when the Bible and prophecy says we'll fail anyway, right? Might as well just sit here like a slug and wait for the rapture.

Why are we spiritually stupid? A lot of it has to do with the compulsion to be a member of a group.
Add to that that people generally want some sort of guidance from an authority figure. If you add on top of that a guidebook which is viewed as being infallible, you have taken away the ability of people to develop their own spirituality.
They have lost or ignore the ability to be in touch with the natural world and the messages it sends. They have lost the part that they are of that natural world. They don't recognize the impact of nature both here on earth, in our solar system, galaxy, and our larger universe that we play.
In its place they have put either a god or a number of gods. They have an artificial construct that has been passed down over the centuries which originally was meant to attempt to give meaning to natural phenomena, it also to control societies. There has been a complete loss by most people of the personal connection to the environment that we exist in.

God created us to lean on Him as man is a weakling spiritually, were demons are more powerful than man and cows , where if we lean on God and believe what He offers then all the power of the miracles of Jesus Christ is ours

Obviously our brains are wired to be this way via natural selection.

Maybe the truth is more that man created God because they felt what they needed it

It is obvious that there are definitely those "types" (I have concluded that they are indeed a separate race or tribe of hominid...) that do, yep, require and absolutely need guidance and spiritual mandates ("For this, not that. Say this, not that! Think and believe this, not ever THAT!") and so on, to "lean on".)
But... OK.... you go for it!
We others are capable of arriving on our own at rational decisions, generating self-determined & correct reactions to events that present themselves, plus our equally self-determined ethics and moral standards that do not require preliminary
"Yes! You can pass GO, and get your "free $200"...

Thank God you, not us!
