Maybe another "reality" show?
The public gets to watch as the anoouncer introduces new idealistic members, who are quite sure of their opinions and beliefs ENTER THE FORUM ( drum roll, cheers, hissing in the backround).
And then watch some become completely humiliated ( or humbled ) as others turn into rabid debators.
Better yet, instead of a reality show format, it would be more like Mel Gibson entering the THUNDERDOME. We could get an announcer like Tina Turner moderating for the viewers as newbies enter THE FORUM

A reality show with teams? Like Dallas vs. Houston, Dallas vs. Suburbs (my fave), pro-illegals and anti-illegals, Rebel Flag Supporters vs. Those Calling Them Racist, Bible Literalists vs. Bible Interpreters, etc?

Instead of literalist v. interpreters or non-believers v. believers, why not just call the show "Verses/Versus"

A discussion show in which the panelists are caged for their own protection.

A documentairy about religion and war.

False Idols?
Like Idols put instead of singing one wins because of their knowledge about holy texts.
