I still think we should all get together and write a book. Perhaps a ten-page statement of what we all believe could make up each chapter, but the premise of the book is that with all of our differing beliefs we have all, for the most part, been able to get along.
We'll write the book, as he outlined. Then, we'll make a broadway production where we all act out our chapters, individually at first. Each getting a turn in the spotlight while the others mill about on a dimly light stage in "Act 1".
Then there could be an interactive "Act 2" where the players discuss together/debate or encouter a situation that needs addressed, using their belief system as a guide. Interesting.....
The City Data monologues?
You know, like the Vagina monologues ?
If I had a vagina I would talk about it all day, and to nobody in particular.
But that simply is just because I'm a man.
And I'm also Tricky .
And D .
Maybe it should be called the Tricky D show ?
Given the change I could be as good as Oprah.
Even when I'm not a woman.
Or black.
.......or rich. HMmmm, on 2nd thought, I might only be as good as Jerry Springer.
But the world could always use another Jerry Springer, right?

I have thought about something like this too... except I think you get more of the "true picture" if you would just print the exact threads as people debated, rather than have everyone know that they are going to be published and write up a ten-page statement! This forum gives a great view of how we all think! And I think it would make interesting and enlightening reading, if some of it could be put in a book somehow...
Does anybody here remember the "Art Linkletter Show"? Art had a segment called, "Kids say the darnedest things." I'd name the show, "Christians Say The Darnedest Things." It would be like the old Art Linkletter show but instead of kids we would have a Christian panel. GCSTroop would play Art Linkletter and ask the Christians off the wall questions.

I like that idea
