God knows everything. Certainly more than we mere mortals do.

Apparently he didn't otherwise he wouldn't have used the term "stars" knowing full well that he meant meteors and comets.

Heh, God didn't even know where Abel was and had to ask Cain. Heh. Heh.

We mere mortals are dumb and ignorant compared to the Creator

When explaining things to any audience you have to use the knowledge they have and communicate in ways that are compatible with their understanding. There is a reason you do not try to explain calculus to a toddler. Aesop's fables communicated principles not reality. The failure to understand this feature of the scriptures targeted to our primitive ancestors with their lack of knowledge is the reason we have so many people believing in and following fables instead of reality.

Why would anyone think that the ancients who wrote Chronicles or any of the other biblical books would have the astronomical knowledge we have now?
But that is precisely the point. It appears that those who wrote the bible only wrote about what they knew, not what an omniscient, omnipotent, god would know and be able to accurately describe for future generations. If the bible is god-breathed, you would think that a writer would be like "hmm, I don't even understand the significance of this, or even know what ________ is, but it was revealed to me from god, so I wrote it down. Future generations will recognize this and will understand that only god could have "written" this."

But no, we only have the intelligence and mindset of the ancient fallible humans represented in the bible mythology.

We mortals don't always understand what God is saying because our capacity is limited. We will know once we are with Him. We will know all about everything (those who are worthy of being with Him, that is. Non-believers won't be with Him because they don't believe in Him).

Where, exactly, did you learn this?

I have been on this earth for a lot of decades. I've never heard this. Ever. And I know people who wear "Reformed Druid" t-shirts and smoke unusual substances for spiritual enlightenment.

He did and used language that equated to the level of intellect at that time. Now we have "knowledge" but the wise see and understand. There was no other words to speak to the knowledge of the cosmos as we understand it today.

You just seek to disprove in order to affirm your beliefs... nothing more.

If we don't understand God, how do you know that he is good and not some evil being fooling you into believing what he says? Then, at the end those who believe in him will be sent to be tortured forever.
