Very honest and very bold of Paul. We know that he preached a gospel (salvation by faith alone) completely contrary to Jesus' gospel (salvation and works) and reiterated by James, His brother (salvation and works). James should have had better knowledge of Jesus' message than Paul, James having lived with Jesus and hearing Him preach.

Well, at least Paul comes clean about his lie. The problem is 99% of Christians are so ignorant about what is really in the Bible they have no clue. I was recently talking to my cousin, a passionate fundy, about the fallacy of Matthew's "He shall be called a Nazarene" and she had absolutely no idea about the verse. Her response, "Really, I didn't know that."
The "idea in context" from the letter he wrote to <the Church his group funded and were collecting money from in Rome> is that even if the "details" of his Christianity are lies, it is still spreading <an acceptable form of Abrahamic> monotheism faster than Judaism did.

The "idea in context" from the letter he wrote to <the Church his group funded and were collecting money from in Philippi> is that his imprisonment (non-death sentence) has emboldened Christians to not be afraid to preach many forms of Christianity (the angriest ones of which he doesn't necessarily agree with) but for all of which he is happy anyway since Jesus veneration (although a seemingly warped form of Abrahamic Monotheism) is replacing the Roman syncretic polytheist religion in many important urban areas and beyond.

So exactly what was Jesus Christ's actual and true message, if Paul miscegenated it?

Love God and each other every day and repent when you don't.

And I guess in Paul's teaching, the repent part has be omitted? (This is just for my own knowledge - I am not a Chrstian)
