What are your Religious beliefs about Gender related issues and why do you feel that way?
A persons Gender Identity and Orientation are two separate things, some people like my mother get them confused with each other at times. There is also a difference between the physical sex of a person and their gender identity, because a person can feel they are not the appropriate gender.

I think you are referring to Androgeny, that males tend to take on several characteristics of a female and vice versa, this was something brought about by Sandra Bem.

Having a transgender daughter, I can assure you that the OP is not referring to Androgyny.

My religious beliefs? The Bible does not address transgender issues, so neither do I.

Actually here is a link to a website related to the topic: Gender Wiki

Androgyne is a type of gender identity, but not what I was asking about.

Actually the bible condemns effeminate men and masculine women.

Deuteronomy 22:5
“A woman shall not wear a man's garment, nor shall a man put on a woman's cloak, for whoever does these things is an abomination to the Lord your God." - It then goes on further to say they should be put to death.

I have a transgendered cousin. I know some of the difficulties of their path and that of others whose self-perception does not mesh with society's expectations.

I am sorry for their pain and the fact that so many self-professed God-believers add to it daily.

We are all the Creator's children. It's truly unfortunate that some narrow-minded fools think the Creator plays favourites.

God makes no mistakes. It's wicked people that molest children and irresponsible parents dressing and having their children in opposite sex clothing that confuses them. They shall all have their place in the lake of fire. If there's one thing you don't mess with, it's God's innocent children. He makes no mistakes.

Of course the creator makes no mistakes,
which is why Transgender people need equal rights as non-Transgendered people because they where born that way and not raised that way.

So in your opinion women should not wear pants and button style shirts?

In my situation what of my transgender daughter wearing pants? Does that make it OK? I think you are confusing cross-dressing with being transgender?

Yes, they were born that way.
My thoughts are they have a memory from many past lives that they have not forgotten.
So? Wish our society was different and more loving and accepting of diversity.
I have known 2 trans sexuals and a transgendered person...gee, it was like nothing to me.
Male, female I don't care...you are what you feel you are.

I wonder if a soul relates more to one gender....my thinking is the soul is very androgenous.
Meaning the best of both....gentle, yet strong....clear, yet compassionate...and on and on..
a top and a bottom...
