Really? Moses had the equivalent of a PhD. He was trained in all the wisdom of Egypt while growing up there. Solomon was high born and the wisest man on earth. David was a king. Sure, some of the prophets were common folk but that just goes to prove God can use anybody for His glory.

Somebody, without spewing the word of god line explain why do you have so much confidence that these ancient peoples had such an insight in to the creation of the universe? What has so convinced you that just their mere words and stories must be true?
Because it is all backed up by the Creator of the universe.

A concept invented by a superstitious, bronzed aged, stone throwing, wandering desert tribe of goat herders.

Who knew they had the answer to it all!

Not really. They were hyper intelligent people and some of their technology is beyond our capabilities to this day.

The Romans were also hyper intelligent people with a different set of gods. They were intelligent enough to conquer, occupy, and eventually destroy the Hebrew homeland and turn the Jews into homeless wanderers.

I will guess that you do not regard the Roman's intelligence as proof that their gods were real, so why would you think the intelligence of the Hebrews would represent any sort of proof regarding their religious beliefs?

Also....what beyond modern capacities technology are you referencing?

And the gods talked back - via burning bushes, angels etc.

Agreed. You think it's matter/energy; I think it's our creator.

An accident - yeah!

When we define accident as an event without intention/intelligent cause then a photon from the Sun striking your retina.

An undesirable or unfortunate happening that occurs unintentionally and usually results in harm, injury, damage, or loss; casualty; mishap: automobile accidents.
Any event that happens unexpectedly, without a deliberate plan or cause.

The Greeks also had the "unknown God" which the apostle Paul, who was also a Greek citizen told them that that unknown God is the God that gives to all, life and breath and all and that "in Him we are moving and living and are" when he spoke to the populace on Mars Hill in Acts 17.

To this day we'd be hard pressed to build the pyramids to the exactitude those ancient builders did. And . . . check this out:

The largest stones of all time

We can't do this today.
