A persons right to privacy and right to feeling safe is fundamental. Although your right, if the person being viewed never finds out, it could be argued there is no harm done to that person. However, as invariably happens, the person being viewed does discover the voyeur, and the psychological impact is significant and negative.

So, your bible is silent on voyeurism, period, in all cases, whether discovered or not. This construct deals with that.

I wonder why the bible does not?
So you agree that voyuerism is a good and moral action as long as you don't get caught. Fair enough.

I see how fundies think. You guys really do feel your "special", don't you? Good grief, how you draw that conclusion I have no idea, but it helps explain why your interpretations of the bible are skewed as heck.

And of course, you didn't answer how your 10 Commandments address the issue of voyeurism.

Shall I wait for a response?

I never even once mentioned the 10 commandments. If you wish to change the subject I would be more than happy to engage once we finish the discussion of these 2 commandments.

Now, your response was:

Quote:

Well, it's not that it could be argued, I did argue it and have yet to hear any sort of refute.

Therefore my point stands: Voyuerism is moral and right according to the 2 commandments as long as the voyuer does not get caught.

Agree or disagree? Please provide actual reasoning for your response.

You may not have, but I did, and asked you numerous times where voyeurism is even mentioned in the 10 Commandments.

You ignored that.

Numerous times.

Of course I would ignore it as you distracted from our discussion by changing the topic. In debate we call this a 'red herring', designed so you can change the subject because you know that you lost. Nothing more I can say.

May I suggest getting a little background on obsessive/compulsive behavior?

Lost? Not at all. You claiming victory doesn't make it so.

You repeatably ignored the second part of the construct. I demonstrated how the person viewed was being harmed, you just studiously ignored that.

Nice try though. Typical christian behavior?
