Why is it always Christians who overreact on school issues like this? What is the problem, do they feel threatened? It certainly isn't evidence of an open mind nor evidence of wanting to learn about the wider world.

Not all Christians are like that. Sadly a lot of Christians are very closed minded & tend to live life with blinders on. They are just doing what they are told too & that's reject anything that they don't believe is of their God. I don't understand how they can go though life living with closed minds.

The weaker one's faith, the more defensive and hidebound one becomes.

I said "I pulled him out."

Only someone with minimal logic and reasoning skills would assume he was pulled out of the ENTIRE school
versus just ONE class.

Especially when the post included it was JUST ONE TEACHER of ONE CLASS which was the Idiot.

And it's poor thinking and reasoning skills to determine this post is somehow attacking others, as you say

Let your new fabricated self righteous defense of others go. It's not working for ya.

It isn't always Christians who react to this stuff, you got that wrong.

As I posted, that class lasted until the 3rd day.
This is a PUBLIC school located in California.
Our area is NOT full of Christians. This is not the Bible belt

there is no right way to teach any kind of religion in public schools. Religion should be taught in places that are designated for it, public schools are not designated for religion.

I think that we should teach about religion. School is a fine place to learn that there are as many different takes on religion as there are cultures and people groups. It is a fine place to understand the broad stokes of how a religion views the world, how it has changed over time, and how it has affected history.

Trying to teach the practice of a particular religion is not appropriate for public education.
