I've always been curious as to what life is like in heaven.

1) What age are we?! I really hope I recognize my grandparents.
2) What happens to the children that die young? Do they stay children forever or do they develop adult personalities?
3) What do we do for eternity? That's a long time! I bet that gives us time to meet every single person in heaven, right?
4) What language will we speak? Sorry, if that's a stupid question. You're probably saying to yourself, "We have time to learn EVERY language, silly!".
5) How's the food in heaven? Will we be allowed to eat meat? Are there going to be name brand snacks?
6) Where and who do we live with? Will there be gated communities for the people who like privacy?
7) Will my pets bet there?
8) Can I play video games?
9) Do people have bad days in heaven?
10) Is drinking beer ok? What about illegal drugs?
11) What will we wear? My wife loves clothes. Will she have access to whatever she wants?

Ok, I am obviously kidding.

Sorry, if I offended anyone, but it is absolutely mind-boggling that around 80% of this country fully believes in this place and refuse to just say, "I don't know".

I am really tired of driving around the south seeing billboards asking me if I will spend eternity in Heaven or Hell.

Any other fun questions?

Well I definitely know my pets will be in heaven, otherwise it wouldn't be heaven for me.
It will be interesting to find out what is on the "other side". I don't want to find out anytime soon, but when the time comes I am sure it will be quite a trip/journey.

Gee, there are so many books I've read on all these things.
# 10 was a bit dumb...but I dunno, maybe not, for an alcoholic or junky.

Bec of the books, all those questions were answered...I believe in the 70's I started with
"A World Beyond"...transmitted by Arthur Ford to Ruth Montgomery...she was a character..
But Art was pretty cool in life and death. A medium to medium book.

"Life in The World Unseen" by Anthony Borgia, I highly recommend...but read online...
no copies are bound well. Then, "More in The World Unseen" He really cuts loose
on religions and what they teach. Transmitted by Father Benson...medium to medium.

If still interested online or in book form or pdf...the James E. Padgett Messages from 1914 era.

Oh, these are just a few in the past 40 years ....reading 100 NDEs, also..which is like looking
into the front door of someone's house from the porch...but, it is a pretty nice glimpse.
Or ''Many Lives, Many Masters'' by Dr. Brian Weiss.. a classic.

This is George Carlin making a joke about the difference between heaven and hell.

There's not one single person on the planet that has the authority to claim they know what the afterlife is like - or even if there is one.

Sure, people are going to write books and people will fall for the "appeal to authority" fallacy. Some writers will get rich pretending to know beyond all doubt what heaven will be like - usually in reference to some religion or other because humanity likes to exclude other humans from rewards (it doesn't make a person feel special if everyone goes to heaven, after all).

The NDE phenomenon doesn't prove anything, either. It's not even good evidence. These people simply were not dead long enough for me to be convinced that every last synapse in the brain stopped firing. Most doctors are in agreement that, aside from certain violent events, dying is a process, not some instantaneous loss of self-awareness. Would our instruments even detect a tiny, almost microscopic portion of the brain still transmitting hallucinations to ease the trauma of that process?

I'm also wholly unswayed, unmoved, and unphased by these religiously-inspired paradises with a deity ruling over them. As I've said many times, I find the "cosmic bouncer" concept of heaven to be patently absurd, but of course how could I possibly know that for sure?

Yet I'm pretty confident that "souls" aren't lined up outside of the Pearly Gates with some angelic camp commandant ordering this person to move to the left, that person to move to the right - sorting them just like another infamous group might have done - organizing groups by who spends eternity in paradise or an eternity in a torturous lake of fire.

It would be akin to finding yourself in heaven being confronted by an angel with an armband and jackboots demanding, "Papers, please."
