OT also endorsed SLAVERY, MURDER, INCEST, RAPE, HUMAN SACRIFICE and a host of other fun and exciting events--so Jesus was good with all thes as well?

IMMORALITY covers a multitude of "sins."

The fact that Jesus never did comment on homosexuality, means we as people should decide if they want to participate or not...

Again, not being rude or anything, but how old are you???
If homosexuality is as bad as Jeff wants us to believe, it would have made god's top 10 list, or at the very least one of the Seven Deadly Sins.

lol! Funny, I feel absolutely no "love" from the Christian extremists who claim to "love the sinner, hate the sin". All I feel is judgmental finger pointing, and often outright hatred and bigotry. I calls em like I sees em

And I do avoid these types of people at all costs.

It made it into a class of its own. "Sins so bad that they destroy nations".

"We also know that the law is made not for the righteous but for lawbreakers and rebels, the ungodly and sinful, the unholy and irreligious, for those who kill their fathers or mothers, for murderers, for the sexually immoral, for those practicing homosexuality, for slave traders and liars and perjurers--and for whatever else is contrary to the sound doctrine."

By the way, you never like to dwell on the fact that the most vitriol Jesus ever expressed was to those bible worshiping Pharisees. He was quite kind to every other sinner.

But to BE like Jesus, you must DO like Jesus. No worries, none of us are mixing you up with either being or doing. You mostly resemble those Pharisees--with less knowledge of scripture.

What, now you are claiming that Jesus approves of sin? Seems like the only thing you have in common with mainstream Christianity is that you believe a man named Jesus once lived. I honestly don't see how any believer could take you seriously.

Yet another verse that demonstrates the bible to be full of hateful nonsense that is so appealing to bigots..

3. He did speak out against sexual immorality which is an all encompassing term that includes homosexuality.

I can easily turn it back on you and point out that Jesus never did say He approved of homosexuality, nor is there a single verse in the Bible in support of homosexuality or SSM. Every verse that touches on the subject is extremely negative.
Where is that definition? Chapter and verse, please. Note: Don't bother posting a REFERENCE to marriage. You said he defined it, so I want to read the definition.

Ironically Jesus was said to have been criticized by the keepers of the religious flame of his day for "endorsing" sin by associating with prostitutes and tax collectors -- the implication being that by not shunning and shaming and preaching against them he was "endorsing" them. He seemed perfectly capable of loving and accepting sinners. How are you okay with that aspect of his ministry?

Strange how the evangelical fundies will say they do not associate with sinners because that is like endorsing the "sin" yet they NEVER remember that JESUS LIVED with some very heavy SINNERS...
