The poll found an even more dramatic difference between different generations when it probed how people believed the world had been created. Of those younger than 25 93.9% said the world had been created in the big bang and 0.0% believed God had created the world.

Fewer and fewer identify as christian.

Pagan Vikings may be back as if the children were not dedicated to Jesus , then God has never protected them in their youth , and there is only a small chance that they will find God , so most will be lost to God in the hereafter

Ignorance is bliss, or so they say.

Cool. That means Thor didn't really die, and besides, Valhalla sounds a lot better than heaven anyways.

Funny how god is so impotent that if humans are not indoctrinated as little children, god loses them. Can't stand up to adults apparently.

By the way, Iceland is to Norway and Denmark as Australia is to England. In other words it was a penal colony full of criminals originally. The main difference is that the appropriately-named Iceland is the sort of hell Australia ultimately was not, at least in Australia's temperate coastal areas. Iceland was so bad that after the Medieval Warm Period, serious consideration was given to abandoning the place and shutting it down entirely.

At any rate, it would seem that living in such harsh conditions results in having little time for BS, and it would seem the Icelanders are ahead of us in this regard.

There's still time to change the road you're on, so they say.

Don't bother. I spent a few days there. Wonderful folks, salt of the earth and very friendly. I was a young man then and those nordic folks can sure spawn pretty girls.
