This. I grew up Christian and still consider myself one. But I no longer recognize the church. It seems broken down into to camps today -- the absolute literalists and those who use it to justify whatever they want to justify. It seems the extremes dominate any discussion and no disagreement can be tolerated.
If anything the church was more open and accepting 40 - 50 years ago when supposedly people were more conservative than it is today when everyone is supposed to be more accepting.
I still have the faith I had back then. The church doesn't.
Jesus forgave all , as must we .
God forgives if we honor him.
We are to forgive under no conditions. God places a condition on us in order to be forgiven. That is what we are taught. He places higher standards on us than he does on himself according to Christianity. There's no logical way to explain this.

Have you tried asking him to forgive you?
You don't have to forgive anyone , but then you won't be forgiven . Do you want to be forgiven ? Then forgive .
You almost had me spinning with your twists .

OMG! I would have to say this is the reason I left Christianity. The ignorance and bigotry coupled with fantastical ideas about history and science are why I left.
What point were you trying to make by calling someone a terrorist?
The point was I judge him without knowing him based on what other people hammer into my mind .
Reputations revolving around Islam , having no bases on witch to accuse him of such other then how I've Seen the religion misrepresented.
This is how most on this forum treat Christians , throwing them all in the same box because they didn't have the discernment to avoid hypocrites.
