The Egyptians enslaved the Isrealites God freed them.
The English enslaved the Africans and God freed them.

Sounds like God is a good God and man is Bad. Thank God he sent his son to save us from our sin.

Because someone let him stand on the carpet.

You could get rid of the dog or get rid of the carpet either way you wont have that problem again. And then you wont have to blame God for problems you created.

Actually, there is no historical documentation of hebrew/isrealite enslalvement in Egypt so the whole argument is moot

Remember that the slaves in Egypt had to wait 2wc as long as the slaves in America for their freedom.
There are many "injustices" in life. Don't focus on them, You'll always find them.
Be glad that there is breath in your body and focus on the positive.

Historically, the Africans were enslaving each other long before the white man got in on the whole nasty business. In fact, it was the Africans who captured and sold their countrymen to the white man. But, nobody likes to hear any mention of that ugly fact.

God gives us choices.
He gives you a free will.
You can choose to do whatever you like.
Quit trying to blame the good and evil of the world on God or the devil.

Anyone can choose to do bad things, this doesn't mean God told them to do it.

The Christian way of living is to have a relationship with God, have faith in Him.
He is an unconditional friend.

No one has to believe any of this, but I personally find a life without God would be dark, lonely, and scary.

I have a problem with the leading Egyptologists because they have increased the Egyptian timeline. The Hebrews are a group of people called the Hykos by the Egyptians. When we correct the time line it matches up the correct Pharos with the Egyptians and with Moses. This then confirms the Biblical acount. Everytime I hear Dr. Zahi Hawass talk on the History Channel it just irks me because I think how can he look at the evidence and still come up with some obscure theory.

So the arguement is not moot. Once we correct the times of the calendars of the Egyptian pharos the hebrews suddenly show up as slaves in abundance in the time of the correct pharos including acounts of revolts and catastrophes that match the Biblical account.

Remember they started off not as slaves but as co-inhabitants. Remember Joseph was ruler, under only Pharoh himself. But this changes after his death. The Bible accounts that "another Pharoh came who did not know Joseph". Then the strife happened between Egypt and Hebrews.

It is very hard for a slave to leave. That thing called death is a real bummer. The Bible also accounts how Pharoh went after the Israelites after their departure. Not so easy to leave.
