That may well be. But so what? She chose not to. Now she's being jailed over her personal religious convictions.
Who care what her own personal religious convictions are? They're her own *personal* convictions.
The only thing happening here is a person gets a job and is paid to uphold the laws of our government and she chooses to not follow those laws or uphold that government.
Easy. Quit or go to jail. She obviously would have been fired (like anyone would in the private sector) except she was elected so she needs to be impeached which for some stupid reason hasn't happened already.
Her own personal beliefs don't matter in this at all. She's just paid to follow the laws, and she's not doing so. She needs to stop embarrassing herself and just quit.
The total icing on the cake in all this is that she's upholding marriage, and yet she's been married FOUR times and has multiple children out of wedlock. That's just offensive.
So then you wouldn't have any problem if the government decided to legalize marriage between humans and animals right? Who cares if it is not natural? And spare me the "consent" argument. It doesn't matter why you find that orientation to be immoral just like you say it doesn't matter that I find homosexuality to be immoral. What matters is a double standard if you protest it.
How can you leave out the consent argument????!!!!
IMO, consent is at the heart of any sexual relationship, casual or committed. Otherwise, it's sexual predation, including rape.
Such arguments only demonstrate a failed understanding of context. The Bible reports some pretty ugly things because guess what, man was SINFUL back then and did ugly immoral things. That reality only tells me that the Bible is true, and not whitewashed history.
Right, and we're all perfect and full of light today, aren't we?
I mentally drew a mustache and goatee on that pic. I gave her shorter hair, and put her in a tie, and Harry Potter glasses. He looked good.
