Funny...I left Roman Catholicism at age 20. I recall my dad saying my granparents probably never saw each other naked, but they did have 12 kids. In Roman Catholicism it's not exactly celebrated.
In Evangelical Christianity I was actually told that sex is good -- it's a gift from God to be enjoyed. There was no shaming or telling us that it was wrong. But it was communicated that God does have rules for how we enjoy it.
