I don't know if the author of the OP is even still around, and I apologize in advance for not being willing to read all 141 posts that precede this one, but I'm curious as to why Catholic is listed separately from Christian.

In my view many Christian organizations don’t want to be thrown into the same category with an organization that is connected to so many deaths, crimes, child abuse, and restrictive and wrong rules. For hundreds of years the Catholic Church killed those divisions who you now want to be listed as part of the catholic christian family. I would be on edge if I were them also. The Catholic Church does not have a history that can be trusted, and I sure wouldn’t take them as a partner in any business venture.
As a non believer I also understand their desire to not be connected in any way to the Catholic Church, and think it shows they are a lot smarter then the catholic church thinks they are.
