Yes, ladies and gentlemen, within the span of a few posts, one can clearly see the incredible damage religion can do to the cortical functions of a human being.

Empathy and rationality become words in a dictionary and nothing more.

2 Kings 2:23
He [Elisha] went up from there to Bethel. As he was traveling up the road, some young boys came out of the city and made fun of him, saying, “Go on up, baldy! Go on up, baldy!” 2:24 When he turned around and saw them, he called God’s judgment down on them. Two female bears came out of the woods and ripped forty-two of the boys to pieces.

I guess it's a good thing the boys didn't physically assault Elisha, as that would have brought an even worse judgment.

He died from COPD. Imagine having to gasp for breath in your last days.

If God had spared these children then odds are that they would grow up to continue to trend of wickedness and destruction. Wicked people in particular tend to not die happy.

The odds are most of us are going to exit this world in some unpleasant fashion, but we claim victory knowing our brief exit will be in exchange for eternal pain free existence with God.
Translation: It was OK for God to drown a bunch of kids because ...Hey! Look at Leonard Nimoy! He had COPD!

So using jefffreebase logic--We are all wicked and sinful, so we all die unhappy and the sooner we die the LESS likely and less time we have to be wicked and continue the trend of wickedness and destruction?

So jeffFreeBase, what is your excuse for continuing to exist on this depraved and wicked planet?

LEONARD is DEAD??? What a long wicked and sinful life he lived...too bad he did not die sooner, like when he was 4-5 years old and hadn't the opportunity to be so wicked -- god really did him a dis-service by making him live so long.

I am so happy I do not have to participate in this bleak, twisted, dark view of life the fundamentalists share.

Yea, he did a real good job getting the wicked off the earth huh? There are no wicked people now, right? So when is the next genocide, Jeff?

Believing everyone on earth was evil is ridiculous.

Believing all the children of the world were wicked and deserved dying shows you are lacking those functions. It shows just how heartless you fundies are. It is good to know that you think killing children is okay, because, hey, they were wicked....

I would like to thank you both though. You are converting and running people away from religion far faster than we ever could! For that I thank you! You are truly doing a great job in making religion look like it is for nutjobs!

Yep.

The Internet is helping bring the insanity out into the public view.

Better yet, these pages can be archived by anyone. In the future, people will be able to see just how much barbarism was still present in the early 21st century.
