Yes! “I(ego, id, self, pride)" is a problem, and IS enemy #1.......
Rather than our natural head, we most certainly need to trust Our HEAD, HE WHO IS Our FATHER and GOD, and HEAD of ALL! Messiah inclusive....... (I Corinthians 11:3)
For “vain 'imag'inations” emanate from one's own natural thought processes, and "imag"ination continuously "exalts itself against the knowledge of Our FATHER and GOD"! (II Corinthians 10:5)
So it is that mankind’s “imag”ination is but a playground for “the father of lies”……. (Romans 1:21, II Corinthians 10:5, John 8:44, II Corinthians 4:4)
Sadly, mankind's "imag"ination is destroying Creation (air, water, land, vegetation, creatures) and perverting that which IS SPIRIT (TRUTH, Light, Life, Love, Peace, Mercy, Faith, Grace,,,,,,, ALL that IS Truly GOOD)!
Rather than "imag"ining one needs be patient, “trusting Our FATHER and GOD with all our heart; leaning not unto our own understanding"....... (Proverbs 3:5)
“Let patience have her perfect work, that you may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing”! (James 1:4)
"Wait on The LORD! Be of good courage and HE will strengthen your heart; wait i say upon The LORD"....... (Psalms 27:14)
Yet to wait is to suffer! (Romans 5:3-4)
Yes! And Thankfully “love suffers long”……. (II Corinthians 13:4)
For TRUTH IS! as "The Messiah suffered, so also will His brethren suffer" as they tarry in, but not of, this evil world! For they also seek and desire that which The Messiah sought and desired above all else....... (Romans 8:17, Philippians 1:29, II Thessalonians 1:5, II Timothy 2:12; 3:12, John 12:25; 7:7)
"FATHER, not My will, But THY Will Be Done"! (Luke 22:42)
Yes! Our FATHER's Will needs be sought and desired more than this natural life itself.......

And The Messiah testified, “If any man would come after Me let him deny him ("I", ego, id, pride) self, pick up his cross and follow Me” on that "Narrow Way"! (Matthew 16:24, Mark 8:34, Luke 9:23, Matthew 7:14)
Simply, the “I(ego,id,self,pride)" must die, for The "WE" to be in The Oneness Family of Our FATHER and GOD……. (John 17:20-23, Ephesians 3:15, Galatians 6:10)
Yet to live, yet die, seems an impossible task,
And so we need of Our FATHER the impossible to ask,
Help me to die FATHER, so that no longer would it be the “I(ego,id,self,pride)”, but THY SPIRIT abiding within me!
For as The Messiah, so also His brethren have REALized that “of my own self i can do nothing”! (John 5:19,30; 8:28-29; 7:16; 12:49-50; 14:10,23-24; 17:8,14, I Corinthians 4:4)
Once again: “Let patience have her perfect work, that you may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing"! (James 1:4)
So it is the REALization of the need and the desire for evermore Patience, causes the brethren of The Messiah to "cry unto Our FATHER and GOD day and night"....... (Psalms 27:14, Luke 18:7)

Mahatma Gandhi REALized his dependence upon Our FATHER and GOD, for he testified, "I have been a willing slave to this most exacting MASTER for more then half a century. His Voice has been increasingly audible as years have rolled by. He has never forsaken me even in my darkest hour. He has saved me often from myself and left me not a vestige of independence. The greater the surrender to HIM, the greater has been my Joy".......
YES! "Surrender"....... Self ( "I", ego, id, pride) Denial, Dependence! The REALization of "i can do nothing of my own self"....... (John 5:19,30; 8:28-29; 7:16; 12:49-50; 14:10,23-24; 17:8,14, I Corinthians 4:4)
So it is that i believe that Mahatma Gandhi received Patience and "The Peace that surpasses all understanding"! In spite of the dis-ease (no-peace) that is of this evil world and/or religion's way....... (Philippians 4:7, John 14:27, 1 John 5:19; 2:15-17, John 7:7, James 1:27, 4:1-4)

And as Mahatma Gandhi testified, so i also testify, "i like your christ(aka:Messiah) but not your christians...... Your christians are so unlike your christ"!
And needs be i testify that i do not follow Mahatma Gandhi, but i do respect him above all other men who have received the breath(Spirit/air) of life, since i received my first breath in '43.
The source of such respect being the quotes attributed unto him.......
And in his latter years he experienced a common union with Spiritual brothers and sisters who called nothing their own, as they evermore sought and desired The Fruit bore in a Simple and Spiritual Life....... (Galatians 5:22-23, Ephesians 5:9)
And TRUTH IS! A Simple and Spiritual Life was revealed in both The Life and The Teachings of The Messiah!
And it needs be REALized that The Messiah received both His Life and His Teachings from Our FATHER and GOD...... (John 5:19,30; 8:28-29; 12:49-50; 14:10,23-24)

You should probably close the book and go outside for a while.
Seek fresh air, greenery, water and birds.
Does wonders for clearing the mind.
Sadly your own words prove that the ways of this evil world, and/or religion, and/or your own fleshly mindedness, have had their way with you.......
Yet while breath(Spirit, air) is, Hope IS!
