The Universe has always been on my side...at least that is what I have experienced most of my life.

I have had 3 very "lucky" occurrences happen in my life today. I sincerely thank the Universe for it.

I was only being silly in the last post about my God comments.

I do believe in a Universal Energy...I call it my Life Force Energy.

I call it: plugging into the Universe. Same idea I reckon.

Yes I would say it equals the same. It's great when aligned with it.

Which would make it, well, cruel.

This particular God sounds a little on the inept side in addition for its compulsive desire to cause or at least witness thousands of years worth of pain. I think there is something wrong with it. Something really broken.
What may appear to you to be cruel is, in reality, benevolent and eventuates in the good of all.
Rather than Him being inept, He is "working all in accord with the counsel of His will," and since His will is said to be immutable, and "no one can stay His hand or say to Him "what doest Thou," I find Him fully capable to do that which He has planned all along.

If I believed God was real I would become very angry at your comments! Torturing my innocent son then killing him, was benevolent? Was your God responsible for my sons death just to fulfill some sick plan? Verily I say unto you, you know not what you say!

Default What did God do on the planet today?

God did whatever WE did on the planet today because we are part of God.

Sick isn't it? Why even bother with a god who works that way.

I've posed the problem before that Eusebius' god suggests....his god's use of evil is indistinguishable from Satan. So how can one believe or trust in any of the supposed promises of such a being.

Good point. Maybe Satan is the benevolent one, using God to work everything for the good of humanity.

God is working all together for good. God uses Satan for further that agenda. God created Satan to do His will. This does not make God evil. If God was out of control of His creation, if God is just trying to patch up what Satan is doing, if God loses the majority of humanity, you might have a case. But God is going to save all mankind. The means to that end is justified.

How did God Himself torture and kill your son?

Of course I do in fact know what I say. Just because you don't agree with it does not mean I don't know what I say.
