Somewhere on the planet someone has achieved a goal he has longed and struggled for.

And all of this is a work of Odin - that creative impulse within man that helps man bring forth great things into the world.
Or Shiva, or Vishnu, or Thor, or Chthulu.

Actually that someone played beautiful music today was the will and work of the musician.

The students score was the work of the student and the assessment of his teacher.

The conception was the work of the couple having sex.

The scientist's discovery was the work of the scientist.

The achieved goal was the work of the achiever.

Of course it was the Flying Spaghetti Monster who held existence together so that all these things could happen, bless his noodly appendage.

What did God do on the planet today?

Gave me a really good recipe for peanut garlic lime noodles; kept me from getting a ticket when i forgot to move my car; when i was feeling low provided comfort and my mood lifted; provided an article on something that i had been wondering about; gave me several chapters in a book that helped me understand something complex; sent me some sweet memories about a childhood friend; helped me see something that was worrisome in an uplifting way; reassuring perspective on some family events; took delight in my study and prayer; let me know how loved I am; sent some funny jokes my way that made me laugh out loud; and the perfect glass of hot sweet vanilla jasmine tea mmmmmm so good. God is very practical and interactive in my daily life.

No offense, but God needs to spend less time helping you out and start helping people who are truly in need.

The deity is only limited by the extent of the human imaginations which created it.

Well...in the UK he flooded out a load of homes, for the umpteenth time, with torrential rain - whilst in Africa he allowed thousands of people to die of starvation for the want of rain to grow crops.

Also in Africa he allowed a few thousand children to die for the want of a glass of clean water.

In various parts of the world he has allowed thousands to die in wars over who's god is best.

All over the world he has allowed children to be born into a life of pain and suffering with debilitating and horrendously painful diseases and deformities.

He sat back and watched many hundreds of thousands die in want and poverty whilst fat-cats gorged themselves with luxuries.

That's just some of the things he has done today. In fact, he does the same every day....assuming for the sake of the discussion that he exists of course!

Let's just say he's much better with first world problems like the need for a yummy recipe than he is with third world problems like advanced starvation.
